Date to Date Calculator allows you to calculate the number of days, weeks, months, and years between two dates, or to calculate a future or past date based on an interval of a number of days, weeks, months and years. Date entry is via the tumbler wheel date picker. Intervals are entered via the days, weeks, months and years text windows. Version 1.01 allows dates to be saved.

To calculate the number of days, week, months, or years between two dates, simply enter the first date using the date picker and tap FROM, then enter the second date and tap TO. Date to Date Calculator has two modes for displaying the interval between two dates, Separate and Cumulative. In Separate mode (Figure 1), each display of days, weeks, months and year values is the total interval between the two dates. Intervals are shown as integers, so 364 days is 0 years. In Cumulative mode (Figure 2), the displays are additive. For example, if the two dates were November 22, 2010 and November 22, 2011 then the displays in Separate mode would be 365 days, 52 weeks, 12 months, and 1 year. In Cumulative mode, the displays would be 0 days, 0 weeks, 0 months and 1 year. In the examples on the left, the two dates are 11/22/2010 and 04/15/2012. The intervals as shown in Separate mode are 510 days, 72 weeks, 16 months, or 1 year. In Cumulative mode the interval is 1 year, 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days.

To calculate a date so many days, weeks, months or years in the future or past, simply enter the start date using the date picker, then tap on the chosen interval window which will cause a keyboard to pop up. Enter the desired interval, then tap on either the FROM or TO buttons.

Entered dates can be saved or retrieved by tapping the MEM button, which takes you to the Date Memory view (Figure 3). Tapping on an entered date will take you back to the main display (Figure 1), with the saved date selected as TO and shown in the date picker. To save a new date, tap on the New Date button which will take you to the date editing view (Figure 4). Select a new date on the picker if different from the main picker, tap on the Name field, enter the text for the name, tap the return button, then tap the Back button. The new date will be shown in the saved dates table. Tap the Back button again to return to the main view.
